I like the elegance of Google’s left menu, the small coloured block is a nice neat way of representing a selected item without a lot of clutter or dramatically affecting the colour balance.
Pinterest uses a neat UI trick of going full-screen whilst a scrolling down the page then bringing the tab/nav bars back when scrolling back up.
The timeline arrow in Path is a good way of showing where you are when scrolling, I’m sure I’ll find a use for it some day!
I like the way that the Starbucks store locator tells you whether the branch is open or closed right now - good thinking.
ABBYY Business Card Reader, I like the way that the main menu choices are represented. I’m not so keen on the Languages bar overlaid on the button though - should be tabbed under.
It’s tough to fill a screen with only two buttons but Airbnb pull it off quite stylishly.
Tempo, a BPM counter and music player for iOS, live the neon styling.
EasyJet for iPhone and Android, very clean but very attractive - maybe a not towards the Metro UI?
Heart Rate for iPhone, good use of feedback with the graph - it is made abundantly clear to the user that something is happening.
Tabata Pro for iOS, simple and very clear - exactly what you’d need when exercising.
